Kidergarten Graduate

We officially have a kindergarten graduate in the house!

On Thursday, Jackson and his classmates wrapped up their year as kindergartners with a cute ceremony at school.  It included caps and gowns, a walk down the aisle, speeches (from the teachers), video slide shows (photos, and a tribute to their teacher who is moving to Las Vegas over the summer), songs, and diplomas.  Joan, Curtis and my parents were able to attend and we celebrated with dinner and dessert afterwards, back at our house.

We are just so incredibly proud of all that Jackson has accomplished this year and how well he's done in school, and we are all eager to see what first grade brings. And for that, he'll be at a new school!

Congrats to the class of 2017 Evergreen Academy Kindergarten graduates!

Graduating at school seemed like an appropriate time to graduate to the next scooter, which he's been asking for!

Gramma Joan and Grampa Curtis kept Jackson out of school yesterday for a super fun day to celebrate his 1st grader status, complete with an iFly experience, which Jackson loved!
