Pumpkin Patch 2012

After a failed attempt at making it to a pumpkin patch last weekend (long drive, road closure/detour, rain, and a rapidly approaching lunch time and nap), we woke up to semi-clear skies and an open schedule, so we packed up and headed out to pick out a pumpkin this morning.

Last weekend, we'd considered making the trek to Carnation for a pumpkin patch we'd heard about there, but after a co-worker raved about Trinity Tree Farm, just a short 15- minute drive from our house, I was sold.

There were no crowds, tons of pumpkins left and we had a great time wandering the field looking for a perfect pumpkin to bring home.  Never mind the fact that Jackson was more interested in looking for and spotting rocks that happened to be in the field.  Corey carved our pick tonight and I can't wait to light it after it gets dark tomorrow and see what Jackson thinks.

I am looking forward to making a trip back to Trinity for our Christmas tree and future pumpkin patch adventures.
