Fun-filled Sunny Saturday

With weathermen predicting sun and 60+ degree temps, it was time to head outside yesterday! Roxy was a happy camper as she was able to go on a nice, long walk and I was a happy camper because I was able to enjoy a run in the sun.

After a little shopping for me and March Madness for Corey, we joined his mom in the U Village for a delish dinner at Sonrisa Modern Mex (highly recommended!). After some shopping, to top off our first nice, sunny day of the year, Joan treated us to ice cream at Molly Moon's in Wallingford. Even though it opened less than a year ago, every time we drive by, there is a line of people out the door waiting to place their order. Last night was no different - I think everyone had the same idea that ice cream is the perfect way to end a beautiful sunny day in Seattle. After waiting about 40 minutes, we were able to make our picks and enjoy some seriously amazing ice cream (highly recommend the salted caramel ice cream with hot fudge on top - YUM!). Thanks for dessert, Joan!

Now, Corey, Roxy and I are looking forward to another sunny day. Finally!

Joan and Corey, waiting in the long line. Oh so worth it, though!
